  • Welcome Mrs. DeCostanza

    Please join us in welcoming Jodie DeCostanza as our new School Nurse at Liberty School starting October 1st! Mrs. DeCostanza has 21 years overall nursing experience and 5 years of School Nurse experience in the neighboring Hackettstown District. She has experience in grades Pre-k through 12, with an emphasis on elementary education. She is also a certified American Heart Association CPR and First Aid Instructor. We look forward to Mrs. DeCostanza joining our team!

  • Welcome New Hires

    Please join us in welcoming Mr. James Bowman, Mr. Thomas Ackerman, and Ms. Jensen to our team at Liberty School! Mr. Bowman joins our 5th grade team with 14 years experience in various aspects of education. He graduated with honors from Centenary College and possesses his teaching certification as a K-5 Elementary Education Teacher, Teacher of Students with Disabilities, Middle School Social Studies Teacher and Middle School Language Arts Teacher. Mr. Ackerman joins our 4th grade team with 12 years experience as a classroom teacher. He graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and possesses his teaching certification as a K-5 Elementary Education Teacher. Mr. Ackerman is also currently a Unit Leader of 3rd grade at Willow Lake Day Camp in Lake Hopatcong. They are both eager to meet everyone and immerse themselves in the Liberty School community! Ms. Jensen jouns our fourth grade team at Liberty School! Ms. Jensen has been a classroom teacher for 12 years and comes to us from the Oakland School District in Bergen County. She taught 9 years at the elementary level and 3 years at the middle school level. Ms. Jensen is also a new resident to the Great Meadows area and she looks forward to becoming immersed in our school community!
