The GMRSD will provide quality educational opportunities that ensure the individual success of all students within a safe and supportive environment and to build life-long learners who will meet society’s challenges into and beyond the 21st century. To that end, it is anticipated that all students will achieve the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards (NJCCCS) at all grade levels.
The Great Meadows Regional Education Association is offering two $500 scholarships (one for fine/performing arts, one for academic excellence) to any senior who attended any of the schools in our district for two or more years. Parents/Guardians, The New Jersey Department of Education, along with 16 other states and the District of Columbia, have been working to establish next generation assessments that measure students’ skills and abilities in English Language Arts and Mathematics. PARCC (Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Career) will measure students’ abilities based on the Common Core Standards. (Click the tile above for more information)
